Like many small towns, Vidor has its challenges, but I want to be part of the solution to improving residents’ lives. Being an Allstate agent lets me make a difference in a very real way: by helping people protect themselves, their families and all that matters most to them.
My husband, Mike, and I live near Vidor with our Vizsla pups, Kona and Quin. You might say my work with Allstate is all in the family: Mike gave up his job as the assistant band director at LCM and LCJH to help me realize my dream to open this agency in December 2015. Now, he is our agency manager.
When I’m not working, I enjoy hunting – my first 9-point buck is on display in my office. I love participating in AKC dog shows and field trials with Kona and Quin. Mike and I have music degrees and enjoy attending concerts, watching movies and cruising. I’ve performed at Carnegie Hall twice and recently released a Christian/Country CD demo. One of my songs has been played on the radio worldwide.
Being involved in our community matters to me. My team and I donate backpacks, lunchboxes and pencils to children in Orange County just before the start of a new school year. We’ve also sponsored a local rabies clinic and a blood drive, volunteered for the Orange County Special Angels Rodeo and support Stable Spirit, a local horse therapy farm. We also host food drives and children’s book drives. Additionally, we’re members of the Vidor Chamber of Commerce and Vidor Rotary Club.
As you are driving through town, we encourage you to stop by and meet us!
